In November we’re welcoming Dr Gill Clarke to talk to us about the Purbeck Artist’s exhibition at the Russell-Cotes museum in Bournemouth.

Dr Gill Clarke
Gill Clarke is a biographer and art historian. She’s published widely on twentieth-century British art.
She was Visiting Professor and Curator at the Otter Gallery, University of Chichester from 2012–2018. And she guest curated at St Barbe Museum and Art Gallery, Lymington. Also in 2016 at Pallant House Gallery for the exhibition of the Bishop Otter Art Collection.

Merton Russell-Cotes

They filled this exotic seaside villa with beautiful objects from their travels across the world, and lined the walls with a remarkable collection of British art, creating a unique atmosphere in a most dramatic setting.
Then they sealed it in time and gave it to the future…
