In June last year, Katie gave a lunchtime talk to introduce these new paintings and gave an in-depth talk about them. You can read more about that talk and the paintings that Katie talked about here: https://friendsofmas.blogspot.com/2023/06/lunchtime-talk-in-may-new-works.html

The picture you see above is a wonderful immersive piece that shows different images depending on whether you view it from a close-up position or from a distance.
The Friends of Museum and Art Swindon has a busy and varied talks programme throughout the year. Sometimes these take place in a virtual space. But now, with the forthcoming reopening of Swindon Museum and Art in Swindon’s civic offices, we’re hoping to start having talks and events in ‘real life’ as it were. You’ll find our full talks programme on our website here.
